- The PowerDrive PDB5V™ sheave line can cover 90% of your applications in the 10 to 150 HP range.
- The PowerDrive PDB5V™ sheaves have a hybrid groove angle that can accommodate both B and 5V section V- belts and they can be used as either driver or driven sheave.
- The advantage of the PDB5V™ over conventional B and 5V sheaves is that you get 5V capabilities at a B section sheave cost at saving of 30-40%.
- Utilizing the PowerDrive PDB5V™ sheave line can significantly reduces the number of SKUs required to cover the 10 to 150 HP drive requirements.
- Due to the hybrid groove angle used in the PDB5V™ sheave, the use of banded belts is not recommended.
